What is a
MEWS
This project is inspired by the British term “Mews” which refers to a row or street of homes that have been converted from stables with living quarters above them; or built to resemble them. These developments typically existing on private roads. They were often found tucked away behind large mansions in exclusive, high-end areas of the city.
A Mews home today offers many benefits given the privacy their placement provides and the creation of a tight knit community atmosphere in the middle of urban areas.
Our idea was to take exterior styling cues from the term Mews yet modernize it with these luxury townhomes. The interiors will be every bit as upscale, bright, and roomy as all Bradstones Construction’s custom builds.
